JD2, Inc. proposed an alternate roofing substrate using metal deck in lieu of the plywood system out for bid. We provided pricing and re-engineering of the metal deck roof joist structure to provide the most value to the owner. Our ability to convert the plywood to metal deck eliminated an interior row of diagonal bracing, which not only saved money, but opened up the interior space for greater flexibility as well. |
